In 2011 my good friend, Dave Perry, and I co-founded Audio Factory, an audio production company that specialises in producing radio and audiobook content. In this time we have worked for a wide range of clients and produced content on behalf of Amazon subsidiary Brilliance Audio, BBC, BD Network and New York Times bestselling author Mary Jo Putney.
In my role at Audio Factory, I write, direct and co-produce content for external parties and independent productions for our own online audience. For me, my highlight during my time with Audio Factory has been producing three series for BBC’s CBeebies Radio based on original concepts that I devised before writing and directing episodes. Our work with BBC is something we’re incredibly proud of and get so much enjoyment from.
Away from the BBC commissions, we have worked on some truly amazing productions and have a growing audiobook portfolio that now stands at over thirty titles, most notably legendary author Michael Crichton’s The Great Train Robbery, which was narrated by Michael Kitchen.
As for that immature self-indulged stuff. You’ll have to ask me privately for links to that earlier content!
